(a blessing)

I created this piece to honor all of the animals that have provided for my family and I over the years. I used the skull from my first deer (Buns of Steel) and the hide of my dad’s most recent deer. When we hunt animals we do so only to provide nutrients to our family. We thank the animals for feeding our family and make use of every part. I wanted to create a piece to further show my gratitude to the animals who have died to feed us.
